About

CMFI exists to provide fellowship, spiritual support and credentials for ministers and ministries who are maintaining Biblical standards of behaviour, preaching and teaching.

In these days when many "church" denominations and organisations fail to uphold Biblical principles by denying the inspiration and infallibility of the Scriptures or by distorting Scripture to promote false doctrines, we aim to encourage those who clearly, faithfully and fearlessly declare the truth of God's Word.

Throughout history God has always had a “remnant’ of true worshippers, those who love the Lord, love His Word and are prepared to stand their ground in the face of intense opposition, very often at extreme personal cost.  We believe that God is calling and preparing a “remnant church” to proclaim and uphold His truth in these last days leading to the return of the Lord.  That remnant now consists of ministers, ministries and fellowships who may be few and scattered, often finding themselves isolated and with very little fellowship with like-minded saints.  CMFI seeks under the guidance of the Lord to provide spiritual support and encouragement for these faithful ministers and ministries.

Membership of CMFI involves the acceptance of the Statement of Faith and Constitution (available on request).  For ministers, membership can mean access to counsel; opportunities for fellowship and ministry; prayer-links; news of fellow members’ activities; supportive teaching and evangelistic ministry for them and their congregations; and ordination for those who seek it.  For fellowships and ministerial organisations, CMFI can act as an "umbrella organisation" providing recognition and support when requested.

CMFI offers three categories of membership:

1. Ministerial Membership is for men with a proven ministry (as defined in Eph. 4:11).

2. Associate Membership is for male and female Christian workers who do not hold leadership, headship and governance postions in the Church.

3. Supporters are those who are in agreement with the purpose and and beliefs of CMFI and desire to use their particular resources to support and promote the work of CMFI.

All applications require references and are subject to approval by the Council of Elders.

Annual subscription fees apply to Ministerial and Associate Membership.

Please contact the Secretary for an application pack.

CMFI seeks to uphold the highest Biblical standards of ministry as described in Paul's epistles to Timothy and Titus and in 1Peter 5:1-5.
